About the Artwork
This sacred composition depicts the Wedding at Cana, the first public miracle of our Lord Jesus Christ. Inspired by John 2:1–11, the artwork portrays Christ, the Holy Virgin Mary, and the wedding guests gathered at Cana, where water was transformed into wine through divine power.
The icon reflects the compassionate intercession of Saint Mary, the obedience of the servants, and the revelation of Christ's divine glory at the beginning of His earthly ministry.
