About Konjo Arts
A divine celebration of beauty, faith, and heritage.
Konjo Arts is a creative studio inspired by the ancient traditions of Ethiopian Christianity. Founded by iconographer K. Haile Maskel Samuels, we believe that sacred art transcends decoration; it is an expression of devotion. For over 25 years, our spiritual heritage has been manifested through hand-painted icons, Ethiopian crosses, fine art prints, and ethically made apparel. Each piece is created with reverence, theological insight, and a profound understanding of culture, fostering a dynamic connection between tradition and contemporary life. At Konjo Arts, we envision sacred art as an integral part of daily life — to be seen, worn, shared, and cherished with intention. Whether motivated by spiritual significance, artistic allure, or a longing to reconnect with heritage, our work encourages reflection, tranquillity, and engagement. In addition to our collections, we also offer custom commissions for churches, ministries, and faith-based organisations, crafting sacred works that infuse stories, symbols, and devotion into worship and environments.

Vision
We imagine a world where Ethiopian sacred art thrives as a vibrant tradition. It testifies to history and offers hope, identity, and spiritual connection. Through Konjo Arts, we create opportunities for people of all backgrounds to discover beauty and spiritual richness. We encourage everyone to reconnect with heritage, clarify purpose, and interact with a tradition that inspires and blesses generations.
Mission
Our mission is to celebrate Ethiopian Christian iconography through mindful creation, ethical production, and diligent preservation. We craft art and design that is aesthetically sophisticated, deeply rooted, and purposeful—ranging from fine art and apparel to devotional and exhibition pieces. Through our work, we promote education, artistic continuity, and engagement with sacred art worldwide.
