About Konjo Arts
A Sacred Celebration of Beauty, Faith, and Heritage
Konjo Arts is a creative studio rooted in the ancient traditions of Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity. Founded by iconographer K. Haile Maskel Samuels, our work is guided by the belief that sacred art is not just decoration — it is devotion.

For over 25 years, we’ve brought this spiritual heritage to life through hand-painted icons, Ethiopian crosses, fine art prints, and ethically made apparel. Every piece is created with reverence and deep cultural knowledge, serving as a bridge between tradition and the present day.

We believe sacred art should be seen, worn, shared, and lived — not hidden in history, but encountered in everyday life. Whether you're drawn by spiritual meaning, artistic beauty, or cultural identity, we welcome you into this journey.

We also undertake custom commissions for churches, ministries, and faith-based organisations seeking to bring sacred stories and symbols to life in worship and community spaces.

Vision & Mission
VISION
We envision a world where Ethiopian sacred art is cherished as a living tradition — not only a reflection of history, but a source of hope, identity, and divine connection.
Through Konjo Arts, we aim to build a global community bound by beauty, spiritual depth, and cultural pride — where this ancient tradition continues to speak, to bless, and to inspire across generations.

MISSION
To honour and share the sacred power of Ethiopian Christian iconography by creating ethically made, visually striking art and design.
Our mission is to uplift, educate, and inspire through every piece — whether it hangs on your wall, is worn close to your heart, or stands in a place of worship.
We strive to make this ancient tradition accessible to all — to encounter, explore, and embrace in their own way.
